Carl Quinn
Carl has been working with computers since the mid 1980’s. Carl began working for Western Massachusetts based Big Y Supermarkets while still in high school. He quickly learned the in-store computer systems and right after graduation assumed responsibility for all of the computer operations of the Great Barrington, MA store. Shortly after that, he was promoted to the corporate office in Springfield, MA and became responsible for the day to day operations of the Point Of Sale (POS) system as well as managing the in-store computer coordinators for the 41 store chain.
In 1997, he became a Program Specialist for MCI/Worldcom that would later become Verizon Business. He was responsible for the reporting, analysis and database management for the NY State Office For Technology (OFT) network and worked closely with OFT and the NY State Office of General Services. He coordinated bi-weekly reports and meetings as well as inter-acted with agencies throughout NY State on a daily basis to insure timely follow up on trouble tickets and repairs of effected network equipment.
